Hello there.

*I stay in the boat, and read Brisingr while talking to Hitsayuga.*

Lets start off with a small knowledge test if you will. Explain in your own words the cycle of the elements and how this will benefit you fighting.

* I keep reading while I wait for Hitsayuga's response to the question.*

*I look up from my book*

Kind of. More of which elements beat which elements and how that helps you.

*I look down and continue reading.*

First of all when one element beats another it can give you an advantage. Wind beats earth. Water beats lightning.

* I reach into my pocket and pull out a piece of paper, without even looking up from my book, and unfold it and start to explain.*

Youve got the right idea. Every element has a weakness and a strength against another element. Fire beats wind but is also beaten by water snd so on. This helps you. Your lightning element is beaten by wind correct? However, the enemies wind element is also beaten by your fire element. Your only worry is water element, since its the on you can't really beat with your elemental jutsu. Unless you count lightning against water which only works when the other person is touching the water. Understood? Any questions so far?

* I have been reading this whole time, not even looking up once, but only occasionally turning the page.*

((currently reading, but yes.))

Good. Now, correct me if Im wrong, but I'd say your primary element, that is your main element, is lightning, correct?

*I look up from my book a little surprised from the question.*

As far as I know, lightning would just pass right through it. Fire is plasma, and lightning is partical matter. So, they would pass right through eachother, unless your using a special fire.

*I look down at my book again and try and find my place.*

Combining elements to make new elements is only possible though kekkei gankai traits. water + earth=wood. water + wind=ice. earth + fire=lava. There may be others, but they are the main ones. Now, back on track, Since you are mainly lightning element, and I am mainly lightning element, it works out nicely that I train you. Im going to put you though a few tests to see how good you are at using lightning element.

*I put my book down, get out of the boat, and stand on the pond. My Raikogan activates, and I vanish and reappear on shore. I motion for you to join me.*

*I let the Raikiri hit me in the chest, careful to put up a little higher amount of lightning throughout my body so when the Raikiri hits me, not only does it not hert me but the lightning from the Raikiri rebounds upon Hitsayuga senting a good 500 volts of current electricity though his body but also careful not to let the lightning go near his heart.*

Hum, not bad, but not good enough.

*I move over to the nearest tree.*

First, Im going to try and teach you not only how to use lightning chakra, but also how to focus it. Example.

*I charge lightning chakra into my fist and hit the tree. The tree explodes outward leaving a stump with a bunch of long wood pieces all around me.*

This is an example of how destructive lightning chakra can be.

* I move to the next tree, and do the same thing except I focus the lightning current though the tree, making the chakra take the size and form of the tree and making it stay on the tree longer. This time the tree not only explodes, but the pieces from the tree are disintigrated into small shards or into dust, which flows away in the wind.*

This time I didn't just let the lightning shoot out in all directions, but I focused it into a certin shape, and size. I also sustained it, which is a little harder to do, and takes up more chakra. Now, I want you to do the same with the raikiri, but focusing on shaping it into the tree. This is shape minipulation that we are working on by the way. Dont try to sustain the raikiri either, you will use up too much chakra and end up totally out of it. This will take you a good ten to twenty time so don't think you will get it right away.

*I sit against a near by tree to watch as Hitsayuga attempts the task I gave him.*

* i try again and it stays for a longer time but backfires again sending me a few feet back* Any tips * i rub my arm again while talking*

*I get up and hold out my hand and produce a Raikiri of my own.*

The trick is to send a continueous current of electricity along the entirety of the tree and keep it there. You can still hit it, but you have to focus the chakra more.

*I repeat the proces by hit ing the tree with the Raikiri and the tree explodes but there are hardly any pieces left.*

Now you try again.

*I sit back down where I was to watch.*

Right * i say it as i look at my hand* Raikiri!!!

* I try again and it almost works*
* i try again and it forms into the tree but stays only for a little while, it blows up but some peices are left*
* i try it a little bit more times and each time it gets nearly better*

*I get up*

Very good. Now we are going to take it a step farther.

*I sign and summon a giant porcupine. The porcupine hits the ground and 10, 3 ft thick earth walls shoots out of the ground.*

Since earth chakras weakness is lightning, we are goin tot do the same thing on the earth walls.

*I charge my fist with lightning chakra and hit the nearest earth wall and it shatters an crumbles into tiny pieces and dust.*

Although earth is weak to lightning, earth is much harder to destroy than wood is. This will definitly take more time than the trees, so take your time and focus the chakra into the walls shape.

* I sit back against a tree and watch.*
